Difference between MD and MBBS

Whereas, MD is a postgraduate course that can be pursued by the students who have completed their bachelor’s degree MBBS, BHMS or BAMS. You will be able to apply for MD in the same field in which you have done a bachelor’s degree.
The duration of the MBBS course is four years and two months. It is mandatory for the candidates to complete a rotational internship of 12 months during this period. Whereas MD is a 3-year post-graduate course.
Admission process of MBBS vs MD

In India, around 554 top medical colleges offer MBBS courses to medical aspirants. Candidates from all government, deemed and central universities/institutions, and private medical colleges are required to qualify for the National Eligibility Entrance Test (NEET) to get UG medical admission. Whereas the admission process for postgraduate medical is done on the basis of NEET PG and INI CET. National Board of Examination (NBE) is the competent authority to conduct NEET PG whereas AIIMS, New Delhi uses to conduct the INI CET exam.
